Bookkeeper

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented Bookkeeper to join our team in Los Angeles. This position is under the direct supervision of the President and Vice President. This position is directly responsible for reconciling accounts and providing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Independent judgment is critical and required in this position. The ability to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload is essential. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, accountable, and enthusiastic about our vision. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Reconcile QuickBooks both companies
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting reports
  • Balance trust account monthly
  • Verify and approve all invoices
  • Track W9s and issue 1099s yearly
  • File and records management
  • Track appropriate licenses and ensure all are current

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience hands-on bookkeeping experience
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred
  • QuickBooks System Knowledge
  • Professional, positive, upbeat demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Manage all follow-up and outreach to new business prospects
  • Communicate with property owners to keep them up to speed on a project
  • Master our inventory, identify gaps in our property portfolio, and assist in bringing on new accounts
  • Build our customer database and increase customer retention
  • Must be accountable for our customer experience
