Responsibilities Include:
- Help to create program recaps and presentations
- Build client databases
- Remain updated on industry trends through research
- Participate in creative brainstorms
- Complete some administrative duties
- Assist in research and outreach to media and blog outlets to evangelize business
- Manage social media activity on various portals including Facebook and Twitter
- Shadow President on high-profile meetings
Required Skills & Experience:
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient at an Intermediate Level with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
- Smart self-starter who takes initiative with the ability to work in a team environment

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an Event Sales Manager to join our team in Los Angeles. We are seeking an individual with an exceptional track record as a self-starter who is willing to roll-up his/her sleeves. This new hire must be able to influence decision makers to book Cap Equity Locations properties (through cold calling, industry relationships, existing book of business). The successful candidate will be capable of thinking strategically, planning proactively, and executing brilliantly. This individual is a successful salesperson, go getter, and relationship builder, with established connections in the industry. This is a revenue generating individual who can book productions at our properties, and achieve results.
Responsibilities Include:
- Identify and achieve event sales for our retail and commercial buildings, mansions, yachts
- Ability to plan, execute design events
- Develop new revenue generation opportunities
- Grow opportunities with new accounts
- Provide high quality event proposals and event solutions for clients
- Work closely with marketing and operations to generate revenue at our venues
- Coordinate with the operations department to ensure successful events
- Negotiate partnerships
- Prepare event documentation including proposals, worksheets, delegate correspondence, reports, estimate proposals, and on-site materials
- Maintain effective communication with clients, finding timely solutions to resolve issues and challenges
- Attend industry events
- Monitors market conditions, product innovations and trends, and competitors' products, pricing and sales strategies to maximize competitive stance
- Extensive knowledge of event planning, in-depth knowledge of marketing and public relations
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Event Management, Business or related field

- Experience involving major entertainment and sports events such as The Academy Awards, American Music Awards, Oscars, Emmys and SAG awards

- Self-motivated with strong negotiation skills

This position is directly responsible for managing administrative activities and coordinating meetings. Independent judgment is critical and required in this position.
